2017 has been the year of the Tipi! When Danny & Kymmene got in touch with us about their wedding, we had no hesitation in biting their arm off when they mentioned their plans. We’d previously had their wedding weekend booked off as a weekend to rest up and catch up on editing during a busy season. But that didn’t quite go to plan and we couldn’t help but say yes! We are SO pleased that we did! What a brilliant day we had for their Helmingham Hall wedding.
If you’ve not been, go! It is a stunning, stunning place with the most incredible gardens. The grandness of the setting works so well with the relaxed nature of tipis and an outdoor celebration. Thankfully the weather remained on our side all day, which feels rare at the moment.
Prior to their fun filled wedding reception at Helmingham Hall though, we had the privilege of being there to witness their wedding ceremony. Their ceremony took place at St Johns in Ipswich and totally took us by surprise. I don’t think we’ve ever witnessed such a lively, upbeat ceremony where everyone looked so thrilled to be involved. It would be no exaggeration to say that people were literally stood on chairs singing, dancing and celebrating. We loved every minute of it. And the best bit? Danny & Kymmene left as husband and wife!
