Wedding entertainment is something that sadly, is overlooked by so many couples. That’s why we wanted to put together a short blog about wedding entertainment ideas.
Often we’ll have people say to us that they love the energy in our work. They love how happy everyone looks and the fun everyone seems to be having. The truth is that these kind of responses don’t come from nowhere. Generally speaking, people aren’t throwing their heads back in fits of giggles in normal everyday conversation. People tend to react to the situation they are in.
If you would like wedding photographs that are full of fun, laughter and energy, providing entertainment is one of the best ways to provoke interaction and reaction from your guests.
Wedding entertainment ideas do not have to be expensive! All you need for a bit of a reaction is something you know will get your guests thinking or doing. Ideas that allow people to also be spectators tend to be great too. This way, as many people as possible can be involved in some shape or form. Guests who are shy or apprehensive may feel more comfortable watching.

For some couples this is magicians or illusionists. Others choose caricaturists or silhouette artists.
For the ultimate surprise, singing waiters always provide an array or responses, but these tend to take place towards the end of the meal.
Other ideas include
Garden games. From Giant Jenga and croquet to space hoppers and sack racing. The former being great as spectators too! Hula hoops, badminton, swingball and even Archery!
Live music. Fabulous, especially for the evening celebrations. Nothing creates a better atmosphere than live music.
Dance acts and professional entertainment such as Roulette and Casinos are great for the evening too!
Novelty food & drink – ice cream vans, gin bikes, prosecco bars, crepe vans. You name it, food always goes down a storm.
