I have so been looking forward to blogging Beth & Dan’s incredible wedding at South Farm! Not only has South Farm quickly become a venue favourite, but these two were just the best to work with!
We found this out in May when we shot their pre wedding shoot. We had a great evening exploring with them, talking about their wedding. That chat did not prepare us though for what a super day it was going to be.
A Jenny Packham wedding dress
My heart immediately began to flutter when we arrived and I saw Beth carrying a Jenny Packham dress bag. As a JP bride myself, I was so pleased that one of our lovely ladies had finally chosen a Jenny Packham dress! My absolute favourite wedding dress designer. Then came the JP shoes too….and they were bright red….and then came the most beautiful ragdoll cats you’ve ever seen. I’d like to think I played it cool, but I was squeeing a bit inside!
The morning with the ladies was so relaxed. Lots of laughter and lots of beautiful light. All the while Sam was shadowing the guys who did a cracking job setting up the venue and making sure all was perfect. It was here we met Nadine from Spinney cottage flowers who produced some pretty special floral arrangements and one hell of a bridal bouquet for Beth! In fact, we were very lucky to work with a host of great suppliers that day. We’ve done our best to include as many of their details as possible at the end of this post.
Wedding day highlights
For me, there’s one stand out highlight of the day though. Stroking a piglets belly! Yep. A tiny, gorgeous little piglet rolled over for me like a dog and let me tickle it’s tummy. Life made. And that’s what makes a wedding at South Farm so amazing!
Piglets aside though it’s hard to know where to begin. The weather was stunning, everyone was happy, excited and up for a laugh. There were games, wonderful details and a packed dance floor, thanks to a pretty ace band. In all, it was just everything that you want a wedding to be and we can’t thank Beth and Dan enough for allowing us to be a part of it.
I wont keep you in suspense any more and i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Please feel free to have a good look trough and leave your comments for us, or for B&D at the end of the post.
