Laura and Adam’s wedding at Sugar Loaf barn in Abergavenny, Wales, is one that we wont be forgetting in a hurry. Like most photographers, we love the opportunity to work somewhere new. When L&A got in touch about their plans, we were excited from the get go. Even more so when we found out their wedding was set to be the first of the year at Sugar Loaf barn. Kicking off wedding season in style! I expect it’ll be the one to beat too. We had such a brilliant day with these guys and their guests. Their day far surpassed our hopes and expectations for the day. So much so that choosing which photos to include for this blog was hard. Really hard!
Unique wedding ideas and personal touches
Laura and Adam chose so many quirky, unique details for their wedding and I just want to include them all! Everything they chose worked so perfectly within the setting of Sugar Loaf barn- you’d hardly believe it was an actual working farm only a few weeks beforehand. From the little personal touches, to the games and the incredible views, we really loved everything about this place. What a gem of a venue and a location. It’s certainly a million miles away from the concrete jungle we are used to back home on the outskirts of London.
A wedding venue like no other. Sugar Loaf Barn- Abergavenny
We’re firm believers in giving credit where it’s due, and it’s certainly due here. As wedding photographers we obviously work at a lot of wedding venues and it’s not often that we’re taken aback by the level of care and attention to detail shown on a wedding day. The venue were absolutely superb on the day. Nothing was too much trouble and they really could not have done any more. Every time I looked up they were doing something productive- whether it was ensuring floors were swept, collecting glasses or chauffeuring guests. All these little things made for a truly seamless day and we had a blast!
