It’s been just over 3 years since Holly & Dominick first got in touch with us about their wedding at the Marks Hall Estate. So it feels like this post really has been a long time coming. It was SO nice to finally meet this wonderful pair and finally see them get married. When Holly first contacted us we spoke about the fact that she’d done some photography work herself, so there’s always that bit more pressure when you’re shooting for someone who’s also a creative. As much as you always do your very best for every couple, it’s nice to feel you’ve met someones vision and expectations.
Lord of the Rings and Seahawks wedding
There were so many things that we loved about Holly & Dominick’s day. There were countless unique touches for start! From the Lord of the Rings references and a very personal ring exchange to a father of the brides speech that had everyone captivated. It didn’t just include the usual sentimental stories and thank you’s, this was an M&S Father of the Bride speech! It included a message from a Seahawks player and even a podcast recorded in their honour.
What we also loved about their day was that they threw tradition to the wind in many ways. They chose such a sweet song for their first dance- (Rainbow connection from the Muppets) which they held outside. The fact that it started to rain half way through only made things more intimate and memorable. Cue hero dad coming to the rescue with an umbrella!
Whilst we work on their full wedding gallery we wanted to share some teaser photographs. We hope you love them as much as we enjoyed taking them. We’ll be sure to update this post when the full set are ready, so do feel free to bookmark and check back in a few weeks time. You can also leave your comments for us, or for Holly and Dominick at the end of this post.

Be excellent to each other
We believe in supporting other small businesses. One of the ways we do this is by making sure other suppliers are credited for their work. In order to do this, we rely on our couples sharing supplier information with us, but understandably they will not always have these to hand at the point of discussion. Using the supplier information provided for us, we create the credits list that you’ll find below. If you find that your details are missing, or are incorrect, please get in touch and we will amend accordingly. Our email address is email@example.com if you need it.
In return, we kindly ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We are very happy to share our photographs, but please make sure they are tagged and credited. Our social media details can be found above. The files used in this blog are small, web sized, low resolution files so please do not screenshot, save and re-upload as the quality will be poor. If you require any images, please email us directly.
