There’s always something extra special about shooting a wedding for a couple who have been together for a number of years. This was the case for Jessica and Frankie who’d been together for more than a decade. Since they were students. They’d crossed paths on a night out and all this time later here they were becoming Mrs & Mrs! They chose the Lion House as host to their celebrations. A wonderfully quirky venue adorned with Art deco style pieces, old film posters and a real modern look whilst retaining a retro feel. It’s been beautifully done. I am so surprised that this was our first time shooting a wedding at this venue as it seems to be the exact kind of place that most of our couples would love!
Having shot Jess & Frankie’s engagement session a couple of months prior, we were really excited about actually photographing their wedding too. They were the most laid back ladies you could hope for, so we knew the wedding was going to be fun!
Lion House wedding with lots of personal touches
One of my favourite things about their day were the personal touches. They had commissioned bespoke Pop! figures for example of themselves and they were SO good!
