We met with Hollie and Ed for the first time back in January to chat about their wedding at Creeksea Place Barns. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the day from the moment they got in touch!
You may remember Hollie & Ed from their engagement shoot, which we blogged a while ago.
When we met with Ed and Hollie they described the vision they had for their celebrations. They had planned a small, intimate ceremony and reception with 20 of their closest friends and family. It sounded like bliss and they were such a lovely, loving couple that we knew the day was going to be fantastic
As it happens, the day surpassed even our own expectations. From the gorgeous gorgeous barn surroundings, to the decor, masses of beautifully presented food, flowers and the general atmosphere. Their day was definitely one of our favourites. It didn’t matter about the rain and the fact that it poured down all afternoon.
What made the day so special was the thought and effort that had gone into making the day uniquely theirs. Hollie had designed her own dress, she did her own hair and make up on the morning and she even did the calligraphy for the place settings herself too. Friends and family mucked in to help build the bar and ensure that the drinks were kept flowing. The family dogs were present, which was so lovely! The entire day we were made to feel part of the celebrations and it was such a joy to have been involved in such a special day.
We hope you love the photos as much as we do!
