Back in August this year Jade & Rob married at the beautiful Hoar Cross Hall in Burton-upon-Trent. They originally got in touch with us way back in July 2015. Just over 2 years before their wedding day! No one ever believes how quickly wedding dates begin filling up, but enquiries up to 2 years in advance is totally normal. Most peak dates tend to fill up between 12-18 months in advance. They found us via the wedding industry awards– which we’d won that year.
This was our first time working in Staffordshire. Our first time visiting Staffordshire in fact! A while before their wedding Jade & Rob had actually come down to Staffordshire to meet with us for their engagement shoot- which was great fun!
We travelled up to Staffordshire the night before and prepared ourselves for the day ahead. They were blessed with the most gorgeous sunny day to begin with, but the rain soon came and kept us all inside for a while. Which was a small blessing in disguise really as the sunny weather it did bring more wasps than I could even fathom! Wasps love pretty wedding venues- who knew!? The rain didn’t dampen any spirits though and there was a great atmosphere. We used some of the beautiful indoor spaces for couples portraits too.
