It’s been a long time since we’ve photographed a regular couple shoot. Actually, it’s been a long time since we shot anything non-weddingy really! So when Georgia’s email popped up in our inbox asking whether we did couples shoots too we jumped at the chance!
We’ve been discussing for a while about wanting to do more non-weddingy things, so this seemed to come about at the perfect time for us! Being able to spend our evenings shooting and chatting with couples in beautiful locations is a pretty great way to spend an evening to be honest. It just confirmed for us why we’d like to do more of them!
On this particular occasion it was all the more fun due to the location. We’re based in Staffordshire so our neck of the woods is more fields than anything. This place had amazing sandy beaches, cliffs, fields and church ruins all in one! You can’t really ask for much more.
It was also super exciting because Georgia is actually a photographer too- and a really good one! I’m glad we didn’t realise until after their shoot that she’s really good. Pressure! In all seriousness, it’s fun working with other photographers. They just seem to get what you’re going for and are often so much more trusting of your creative vision. A huge thank you to Joe & Georgia for spending the evening with us and asking us to capture your session!
