This past weekend, we finally had the pleasure of photographing Sara & Nathan's wedding. Their gorgeous day was a real DIY effort with so many personal touches and beautiful details all carefully planned and hand crafted to perfection! One of the highlights of our day was being able to capture some smoke bomb wedding photos for them just as the sun was setting. The scenery was gorgeous and the sun had dropped in just the right place at just the right time. Sara & Nathan were all smiles and laughter and it was truly magical to witness. We're sure that the film from Lavalette Productions is going to look immense!
Wedding bouncy castle
The rest of their day was equally full of laughter, not least from their 3 boys who no doubt has the absolute time of their lives. They utilised the wedding bouncy castle to the maximum and had some pretty amazing moves that left us wishing we had as much energy on a day to day basis!
Buddileigh Farm wedding venue
Buddileigh Farm was the ideal backdrop to their celebration. The entrance lined with trees is breathtaking and really set the scene for the rest of the celebrations. From the gardens to the marquee that was so beautifully decorated with the most sensational flowers and balloons. It really was stunning and we would love to return to photograph more weddings at Buddileigh Farm.
Whilst we work on the rest of the photos from Sara & Nathan's day, here are a few teasers. We look forward to updating this post soon with some more images from their epic DIY smoke bomb wedding.
