It’s already been a super busy year for us, which means we’ve not been able to blog as many sessions as we’d like. So whilst I have a spare 5 minutes this evening, I can’t resist sharing this teaser from Gemma and James Engagement shoot in Chelmsford with you all.
Traffic chaos!
Things got off to a slightly bumpy start however when we found ourselves sat in stand still traffic on the A127 following an accident. At one point I was genuinely worried about whether we’d even make it to the shoot as the road seemed to be being closed off, with us about to be stuck on it!! Thankfully, the extra travel time we had allowed for the journey gave us the wiggle room we needed to find an alternative route (thanks google!) and soon we were moving again. We arrive with time to spare, crisis averted. Phew!
Engagement shoot in Chelmsford
We met G&J at one of our favourite spots for an engagement shoot. It’s such a popular location with our couples and every time we go back we remember why. It’s colourful and quirky and generally just a really lovely place to shoot. You can wander to your hearts content and never see another soul sometimes.
Together and alongside their gorgeous boy, we explored. Luck was definitely on our side tonight as in addition to dodging the traffic, we also managed to catch the last of the late afternoon sun before a blanket of cloud swallowed it up. Sadly, no pretty sunset tonight but that didn’t matter at all in the end. Working with these two was a dream. So chilled out, so up for anything and so much fun. We really cannot wait for their wedding in a few weeks time, which we will be shooting alongside Steve Hood Films.
A shout out also goes to Gemma’s sister who was on hand throughout to assist with doggie duties. This meant that we were able to capture shots like these! Thanks Gina!
If you’d like, you can also keep up with us and our work over on social media.
