Like everyone else, this year has been a funny old one for us. It’s now July and whilst we’d usually be neck deep in editing and shooting multiple weddings a week- we are only now, 7 months into the year, shooting our first.
With the recent relaxation to the rules surrounding weddings, it has been a nail biting week. Desperately waiting to find out which weddings can go ahead, if any, and under what conditions. So when it was announced that weddings can begin once more, in some form, on July 4th, it was a real nail biter as we instantly knew we’d had that date booked in our diary for well over 2 years. Could the wedding go ahead?
David & Emily booked their wedding with us way back in January 2018 and since the initial point of contact we’ve been so excited about their plans and about working with them. We wont post any spoilers about what’s to come as they still have big plans for next summer. Lets just say it’ll be one not to miss!
It was an absolute treat to be able to attend their intimate wedding on July 4th and capture their ceremony for them. It may not be what they originally had planned, but we hope they had the most incredible day regardless. The countdown to next summer is officially on!
