In November 2014, we received news that we had won “Best Photographer” at the Wedding Industry awards. We were not able to attend the award ceremony, so we found this out via Twitter! We’d scooped the award for Best photographer in our region. The East of England. We were of course over the moon, but this week we got the icing on the cake! The anonymous feedback submitted by our couples as part of the judging process.
TWIA is unique in that in order to qualify in the initial stages, you must be ranked anonymously by your couples. Only real couples that you have actually worked with can vote for you. Unlike some awards, it’s not a numbers game and it’s not a case of whoever gets the most votes wins. Instead, real couples score their supplier on a scale of 1 to 10 in a number of categories. Categories include things like how well the couple felt their needs were understood. Things like value for money are also scored. At the end, there’s the opportunity to leave comments too. Comments and average scores from genuine clients are then used to determine over all winners.

This week we were given access to the comments submitted about us. All totally anonymous and in a random order. Clients were able to submit general feedback and specific feedback. We wanted to share this feedback with you.

They seem to remember every little detail about the weddings and it was refreshing to hear how highly they spoke of the weddings they had done.
