There’s nothing we love more than a relaxed outdoorsy wedding. So we were super excited when Millie & Alex got in touch with us and shared some details about their wedding plans. Their plans definitely ticked all our “photography goals” boxes. Best of all, we had actually photographed Alex’s cousin’s wedding shortly before. We’d had the most amazing time shooting Katie & Chris’ wedding and had been bowled over by what an incredibly warm and welcoming crowd they’d invited. So to have the opportunity to be around lots of familiar faces again, along with many new ones was a dream!
Lincolnshire wedding photographers shoot at the Walled Garden
As it turns out, Alex & Millie’s day was even more spectacular than we’d hoped. We arrived early to explore their venue (The Walled Gardens) and to say it is stunning would be an understatement. Quaint and colourful, classic and romantic. It’s somewhere that we would definitely recommend you visit if you’re ever in that part of the country. As we arrived, set up was still ongoing, but the bones were there. Lots of fairy lights and personal touches- pressed flowers and a striking ceremonial arch.
We were fortunate enough to once again be surrounded by a wonderful crowd who welcomed us as one (well, two) of their own. This made for a day that was not only lots of fun, but one that’s produced a set of photographs that we’re really proud of. We cannot wait to share some more from this most special of wedding days soon. In the mean time, please see below just a few teasers from the day. You are welcome to leave your comments for us, or for the couple below in the comments section.
You can also keep up to date with us, our latest work and more teasers on social media.
Be excellent to each other
We believe in supporting other small businesses. One of the ways we do this is by making sure other suppliers are credited for their work. In order to do this, we rely on our couples sharing supplier information with us, but understandably they will not always have these to hand at the point of discussion. Using the supplier information provided for us, we create the credits list that you’ll find below. If you find that your details are missing, or are incorrect, please get in touch and we will amend accordingly. Our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org if you need it.
In return, we kindly ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We are very happy to share our photographs, but please make sure they are tagged and credited. Our social media details can be found above. The files used in this blog are small, web sized, low resolution files so please do not screenshot, save and re-upload as the quality will be poor. If you require any images, please email us directly.
