The Boathouse is a wedding venue in Norfolk that we have long admired. We’ve always loved the water and found ourselves drawn to it. For us, it’s pretty much the perfect wedding venue! Norfolk in itself is a beautiful area of the country too. When Natasha and Charlie got in touch to say that they had decided to change wedding venues we were over the moon. Finally, we were shooting at the Boathouse Norfolk!

When the day arrived however, there was a little weather related tension in the air. All week the weather forecasts had not looked good. The boathouse Norfolk is somewhere where you really want to be able to enjoy the outdoor ceremony. Everything from torrential rain to isolated showers to glorious sunshine had been forecast. When we awoke to a dry, partly cloudy morning- we were thankful that things were at least dry! As the day progressed the sun made an appearance and before long it was glowing. Things could not have been more perfect!

We absolutely adored shooting at the Boathouse and hope that we’re able to return there soon for another Boathouse Norfolk wedding!
